Zojuist las ik een (interessante) artikel The future of libraries (via Bert Frissen) dat eindigde met een must-see video van Ericsson over de toekomst van leren. Een mooie aanvulling op het blog dat ik deze week plaatste: Een kijkje in de toekomst van leren. In de video komen verschillende interessante uitspraken voorbij van o.a. Stephen Heppell, professor Bournemouth University  (“We’re probably at the death of education, right now,… And I think that learning is just beginning.”), Seth Godin (“There’s a very big difference between ‘access to information’, and ‘school. They used to be the same thing. Information is there online, to any one of the billion people who has access to the Internet. So what that means, is if we give access to a 4-year-old, or an 8-year-old or a 12-year-old, they will get the information if they want it,”), Sugata Mitra (“It’s the teacher’s job to point young minds towards the right kinds of questions. The teacher doesn’t need to give any answers, the answers are everywhere”), Daphne Koller (Coursera) (“…as education is going to go back to its original roots of teaching. Where the instructor actually engages in a dialogue with the students and helps them develop thinking skills, problem solving skills, passion for the discipline.”)

Gewoon even 20 minuten de tijd voor nemen!
